Joe Beauvais
 

I am a Photographer, Retoucher and Educator based in Sayville, New York on the south shore of Long Island.  I am a Public School teacher in NYC with 24 years of experience and have been taking pictures since I was a teenager. I specialize in commercial/product photography, still life and portraiture. Much of my portraiture work revolves around children and families. As a school teacher I am comfortable with children of all ages from toddlers to High School seniors. I can easily engage and interact with young people in order to facilitate the making of a wonderful image.

I have a Master's Degree in Technology and I am an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop. I provide all forms of digital imagery enhancement,  from corrective and creative adjustments to retouching and photo restoration. I also provide training in each of those disciplines as well as training in photography and lighting .
