My approach and pricing
I am an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop and a contributing restoration artist with Operation Photo Rescue a non-profit organization that scans pictures ruined by disaster and through a network of artists repairs and restores the images for redistribution to the original owners. I have retouched images for use in school year books, family albums as well as providing retouching services for wedding photographers.
I price each project individually based on a $30/hr scale. I do not automate or batch process your imagery. EVERY image I touch is individually assessed and the particular approach that is best suited to improve that image is employed. In the case of a large group of images from the same shoot or taken under similar conditions standard adjustments for tonality, color and exposure may be automated to save time, then each image is inspected to determine best next steps.
I charge on the quarter hour so that I can invoice my clients accurately for ONLY the time that I am actively working on their project. I will provide a text document with a digital stop watch reading of the time spent on task.
I am happy to discuss your retouching and restoration needs. I will provide a free estimate if you foward me images to evalute. Special pricing for event and wedding photographers who have hundreds of final images that might require enhancements or adjustments can be negotiated.
